The strategic landscape has changed dramatically. The worries over President Trump’s Iran memorandum of understanding are now behind us.

After Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps attacked a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, the United States responded with overwhelming force. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth delivered a blunt message: “Iran made a bad choice. Now they are paying the price.”

This follows President Trump declaring the ceasefire over while keeping the door open for talks. According to U.S. officials, American forces struck approximately 140 Iranian military sites in a single operation — missile bases, drone facilities, naval assets, radar installations, and ammunition depots. Over three nights, more than 300 targets were reportedly hit.

Iran responded with missiles toward the UAE and Qatar, and attacks on U.S. assets in the region. But the message is unmistakable: endless negotiations without strength are finished. Jihadi regimes interpret weakness as an invitation.

For Israel, the lesson is critical. We cannot build our national security on ceasefires or international agreements. Iran’s nuclear program, ballistic missile capabilities, and global terror network must be dismantled. Peace comes through strength.

Prime Minister Netanyahu has demonstrated the resolve and strategic clarity needed in this fight. As someone who has followed every development closely, I believe he remains the leader best equipped to protect Israel’s interests.

This video breaks down the dramatic shift, Trump’s approach, Hegseth’s clarity, and what it means for Israel’s future security against the Iranian threat.
