New York City is entering a dangerous political moment.

The election of Zohran Mamdani signals the growing influence of a radical socialist political movement that has repeatedly targeted Israel, normalized anti-Zionist rhetoric, and built alliances with activists whose worldview is hostile to the Jewish state and increasingly hostile to the values that made New York strong.

For Jews who grew up believing New York was a safe and thriving home, this should be a wake-up call.
