Did you see the news that the Trump administration is considering offering asylum to British Jews as conditions for Jews in the UK grow increasingly dangerous? 

 

While it is reassuring that a country is willing to protect Jewish lives, the proposal also reveals a tragic misunderstanding of Jewish history and destiny: Jews do not need another place to flee to, we need to come home, to our ancestral homeland of Israel.
