I watched the recent interview between Tucker Carlson and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee with careful attention. I wanted to see whether it would be a fair exchange or something else.

It was something else. Very disturbing. 

Beneath the calm tone and sweet, unassuming delivery, Tucker Carlson framed the interview to function as a hit job, not just on Israel but on Ambassador Huckabee as well.

This was not an interview designed to uncover the truth for the benefit of Americans. It was engineered to implant doubt, about Israel’s moral legitimacy, and about the justice of its war.
