The war is not over because the evil we are fighting still is a threat; we just chose, time and again, to look away from it, and we can no longer do that. 

 

Standing back in IDF reserve duty in the Judean Hills, I’m reminded of the 35 Palmach fighters murdered here in 1948, proof that this same murderous ideology has stalked us for generations, changing slogans but never its purpose.
