I lived this reality in southern Lebanon in the 1990s, getting up at dawn to protect our bases, walking the roads, step by step, knowing Hezbollah might have planted bombs overnight and that one mistake could cost lives. What we’re doing now isn’t new; it’s the same failed approach, and it will end the same way unless our senior IDF command finally chooses proper victory.
