Netflix just released a horrendous reality television show that totally bashes Orthodox Jewish lifestyle. The worst part about it is that it stars an ex-Orthodox woman, who not only lies about her own life but is quite happy to do so, whether for fame or for sensationalism.

 

I had the opportunity to interview a powerhouse Orthodox woman named Allison Josephs who is the Founder & Director of Jew in the City, the only nonprofit dedicated to changing negative perceptions of religious Jews and making engaging and meaningful Orthodox Judaism known and accessible.
