French President Emmanuel Macron promised Wednesday that France will not renounce freedoms taught by a schoolteacher beheaded by a radical Islamist last week after showing caricatures of the prophet of Islam to his class.

 

“Samuel Paty was the victim of a conspiracy of stupidity, hate, lies … hate of the other … hate of what we profoundly are,” Macron said. 

No, President Macron, it wasn’t a conspiracy of stupidity. If you would have acted upon this video we produced five years ago following a string of horrific hate attacks against Jews in France, this teacher’s life would have been saved and France would be a safer country. But you and too many other Western leaders ignore the root cause of these hate attacks, to the detriments of your citizens.
